The Software Testing Capability Lead is a Senior Manager role, and the person shall be responsible for driving the software testing expertise of the company. As such, the ideal candidate is one who is well versed on the latest trends in the testing practice and market behavior/attitude towards various operating models for testing. The person will also be expected to: 1) Lead large-scale testing engagement 2) Describe/propose a proficiency measurement system specific to testing capability. 3) Perform software testing for various technologies and architecture frameworks 4) Establish a test team from scratch Skill Set: - At least 12 years of relevant IT experience on the following areas, including 3 years of Management experience in Testing CoE – Advanced Testing - Have a strong grasp of software testing concepts and principles. Certification (CSTE, CMST, ISEB) is a plus. - Knowledgable in software testing models like Waterfall Testing, Agile Testing, Model-Based Testing, etc. - Knowledgable in various test automation tools – Mercury HP suite, IBM Rational suite, Worksoft Certify, TOSCA, Selenium, iTKO or CA LISA, Green Hat, GRID tools (to name a few). - Knowledgable in Mobility software testing strategies and tools. - At least 3 years in a role or similar capacity that does any three of the following activities: a) Interpreting the market – what buyers buy and translating these into Development and Innovation initiatives b) Developing new Capabilities – build new skills, incubate new technology delivery teams, develop assets and accelerators around products or services c) Budget and Program Management for such capability building initiatives d) Design and Implement upskill programs for existing skill pools e) Support sales processes with Technology acumen f) Representing a company as a Capability Owner (ambassador) - Preferred technical background in SAP, Oracle, Web / Cloud Applications, Integration - Excellent communication skills appropriate for conversing with C-Level Executives - Familiar with IT market dynamics in particular, technologies that are hot in the industry/market - Highly motivated and is at ease with handling / managing multiple tasks at any one time - Technology Certification is a plus Interested candidate can send their resume at ssalvadora.chrs@gmail with the subject line Applicant for Testing Capability Lead.
