URGENT: On Monday the city council voted 7-6 to drastically cut racial equity programs and the clean energy partnership--to save some homeowners $2.50 annually. With the worst racial disparities in the country, Minneapolis cant afford any cuts to racial equity programs. The clean energy partnership, a huge step forward for environmental justice, would also be totally gutted under this budget. The final vote will be on December 10. Before then, your council member needs to hear from you. Today: call your council member and tell them to restore funding to racial equity and clean energy programs.
