URGENT! PAWSITIVE RESCUE NEEDS KITTEN SUPPLIES! Did you know summer can be the most difficult time for rescues? Shelters are overflowing while most people are busy making plans for summer vacation. Can you take a few moments to help animals in need? As hard as we are trying to reduce the number of unwanted kittens being born, litter after litter is pouring in! We house all our kittens in foster homes where they can get up to speed on living as family members and receive the TLC they need. Each foster family needs a full set of supplies for their little charges, which adds up to a MOUNTAIN of needed items this time of year! These are the things we need most right now: Kitten Milk Replacer and bottles Litter Boxes, Scoops and Scoopable Litter (Unscented Preferred) Scratching Posts Beds & Blankets Baby Scale (for weighing kittens) Toys: Kittens especially love toys on sticks, fuzzy mice & those round toys with the balls in the tract for them to bat around. Wed LOVE to have one of those for each foster! To make arrangements to drop off supplies, please call Jeanie at (509) 216-7565. She is centrally located in Spokane just off Division, or we have another drop off point in The Valley a couple blocks off Argonne and Mission. Arrangements to pickup donations can also be made. Pawsitive Outreach Spay/Neuter Alliance (POSNA) and our kittens thank you for you help! All of the kittens pictured are available for adoption now except for the last three. They will be ready the first week of Aug. POSNA is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit charity. All donations are deductible to the full extent of the law. Our main mission is providing affordable spay/neuter assistance to low income pet owners and stray and feral animals so they dont end up in desperate situations like our kittens.
