URGENT, Please Circulate (Those submitting M. Phil/ PhD) JNU admin has issued a circular on 4th July regarding submission of M. Phil/ PhD dissertation/ thesis. It is circulated among students by different schools. The circular says, I hereby declare that, if appropriate, I have obtained and attached hereto a written permission/ statement from the owners of each third party copyrighted material included in my thesis/ dissertation. (Signature of the Scholar) This has created massive confusion among students, as this is highly impractical and also legally non viable. Today morning, on behalf of JNUSU we met the Rector and informed about this illogical circular creating confusions. She has assured us that JNU administration will immediately issue a new circular rectifying this mistake. JNUSU will inform you as soon as the new circular comes out. (Via Ashutosh)
