Soldier Shot At Canada War Memorial, Shots Fired At Parliment, Active Shooter Situation A soldier has reportedly been wounded after shots were fired near a war memorial in the Canadian capital Ottawa. A shooter was seen running towards the nearby parliament buildings where more shots were fired, according to media and eyewitness reports. The buildings are in lockdown and police and tactical teams are in the area. Prime Minister Stephen Harper is safe and has left Parliament Hill. The wounded soldier, who was standing guard at the National War Memorial, has been taken away in an ambulance.
