Martydom of the freed prisoner, Mutaz Hijazi, of Jerusalem, after armed confrontation with occupation forces at his home in alThowri suburb. His father & brother is arrested, a 24hr demolition order is given on their home. AlQuds flares up in protest! 4. Deputy speaker of the Knesset, Moshe Figlin, calls for a ban of all Islamic Awqaf(endowment) officials to enter Masjid al-Aqsa & joins settlers at the Moroccan gate of Masjid al-Aqsa. 5. The Mufti of Jerusalem, Ahmad alTibi and others proclaim God is the Greatest in the old city and have a press conference at the Amoud gate. 6. Violent clashes in most parts of Jerusalem with exchange of live ammunition in some areas, stones and molotov cocktails thrown at zionist forces. 7. Occupation forces close all roads leading to Maqbara al-Mujahideen(martyrs cemetry) where the martyr Mutaz Hijazi is to be buried.
