URGENT!! This sweet girl needs help! PLEASE READ & SHARE... I have been made aware of a situation of a local family (Strasburg, VA) getting rid of their 13 year old female Lab mix ( Cali) because their child has been diagnosed with cystic fibrosis...I believe they dont have the money to care for the needs of this poor girl anymore. She has a skin condition that needs to be addressed but other than that is in good health. She is housetrained.Been told she is very sweet & good with dogs & cats. THEY WILL BE TAKING HER TO THE SHELTER IN WOODSTOCK TO DIE TOMORROW. I am trying to get them to wait until the weekend.Can anyone help? Or know of anyone that can help? She deserves a loving home to spend the rest of her days..not to die in a shelter with a broken heart & spirit. I understand there is also a senior cat that will be put down.
