URGENT UPDATE!!!! BOXER MEDICAL NOTES This poor boxer boy needs a lot of love and has some medical issues. He will need a very special rescue or person to help him. I know there is a special Angel out there that will help this precious boy but he will need a lot of pledges and a very special rescue. Vet Notes: 11/17/13 15:13-boxer emaciated, not putting any pressure on the right back leg-am 11/18/13 Dog is BAR, has multiple medical issues. Dog has prominent underbite. Dog is toe-touching lame on right rear leg. There is muscle atrophy in the thigh area indicating a chronic injury. No obvious pain was elicited on ortho exam. Radiographs of the hips and knee +/- ortho exam under sedation are needed for more diagnostic information. Dog is underweight--BCS 1.5/5. Dog has severe watery diarrhea with irritation of skin around anus. Gave 1 tube of Diagel medium PO. Dog does not appear to have full control of his bowels or bladder as he seems to leak urine and diarrhea involuntarily. Urine is very dilute--rec. bloodwork and UA to rule-out kidney disease. Dog is also right abdominal cryptorchid. Dog is poor candidate for adoption due to multiple chronic medical issues. Adopt only with medical waiver as medical care is likely to be costly...SS. 11/17/13 – 5 in 1, bordetella intranasal & dewormed.
