Available for rescue, foster or adoption. Must leave BARCS ASAP. VERY URGENT!: Star, PitX 2 yr old, 40 lbs Female, unaltered Star is easily a favorite at the shelter, and is simply adorable, so its not hard to understand why. She loves being outside, her tail is always wagging and body always wiggling! She adores spending time with people and is full of kisses show you her love. Star currently has a URI and is becoming increasingly stressed in her kennel. We would love to see her in a home environment where she can relax. Star has been described by volunteers as attentive, willing to learn, gentle and seems to be housebroken. She was dog-tested today and is dog-friendly but under socialized. She was tense and snappy at first, but became more comfortable the longer she was in the play yard. She made no attempts to aggress and seemed like she wanted to play, but was unsure of herself. Towards the end of the session, there were several dogs out on loose leash together and Star rolled on the ground playfully right next to them and let them walk up to/over her and touch/smell her.
