> URGENT, URGENT, please help! Elderly womans heartless family (in Orange County, NY) has taken ailing Granny in but is not accepting her dog. Grannys 9 year old purebred golden Cocker Spaniel has been crated in a garage for the past 8 months for all but maybe an hour a day, sometimes even less. The garage is hot at this time of year and the animal is suffering from atrophy. The situation is atrocious. Granny is pleading for help for her beloved pet. PLEASE ... If you are able to foster this senior Cocker, we need to hear from you urgently. The dog is friendly (skittish with children), current on shots, and neutered but in need of dental and grooming (rescue will take care of the vetting).No photo at this time, we are working on it. Transport is available. Good Samaritan is also offering a big bed and large crate which will be delivered with the dog.
