Di seguito delle Informazioni sul Progetto Youth Exchange - “EUROFANBASKET” 02/09 - 10/09 2013 Črnomelj, Slovenia Mladinski center BIT (MC BIT) – Youth center BIT (YC BIT) is situated in a small town, named Črnomelj (SE Slovenia). By now, it is the first and only youth center in Bela krajina region. It was established by the two most active youth associations in the area, Students´ Society of Bela krajina and Youth Cultural Club. From the beginning, it has been run exclusively by the activists, younger than 30 years of age. Both the info office and the MKK club are situated in the old town center of Crnomelj. Main mission of YC BIT is reparation and coordination of programmes and projects, that enable young people to spend their spare time in a creative way and also full their educational, expert, cultural, artistic and other needs. Venue: Črnomelj - Slovenia Date: 02-10.09 Country: Slovenia, Turkey, Spain, Latvia, Italy, Croatia, Lithuania and Poland. Description: In September 2013 Slovenia will host the FIBA EuroBasket 2013, the 38th edition of the EuroBasket championship that is organized by FIBA Europe. The main aim of the youth exchange is promotion of positive values, that could be gained thought sport, and promotion of common European future. Foreseen activities to achieve this aim: - making cheerleading banners and fan zone - organizing a charity basketball tournament - preparation of international evenings in the fan zone - watching most the games of the championship (also one match in Ljubljana)
