URHOBOS TO WORK AGAINST JONATHAN 2015 A text message has been in circulations for some time now conveying this message thus; Tompolo instructed his Ijaw brothers not to vote for the Urhobo candidate Urhobos will therefore not vote for Jonathan While the wordings above may not be exact, the message conveyed by the message is most appropriately conveyed above. I am tempted to feel Urhobos are no more interested in clinching to the government house come 2014 as the text not only expresses frustrations but leaves an impression of one fed up with the Urhobo aspiration. While I have always advocated as a lawyer that zonal is undemocratic it is the only way of securing a minority group from the tyranny of the majority. Rather than depleting energy arguing who voted and who never voted for the Urhobo candidate an act than is capable of placing the Urhobos aspiration on a minefield. In the face of the criticism I repeat the manner of emergence of the urhobo candidate was a mistake which should be an armour against the future. If all Urhobos had obeyed the matching order from the almighty UPU would EDEVBIE not have carried the day? But how do we expect them to obey an order that never considered their input. I advise the Urhobos to discontinuance that text message otherwise
