URSULA STEPHENS SELECTED AS LABOR CANDIDATE FOR STATE SEAT OF GOULBURN. Ursula Stephens has announced that shes been nominated as Labors candidate to take on Pru Goward at the next state Election. The news comes after Goulburn Mulwaree Councillor Robin Saville and Yass based Anna Ritson withdrew their nomination. Mr. Saville says its clear that he didnt have the numbers. In a statement Ursula Stephens says shes intend to make Goulburn relevant again in the corridors of power in Sydney. The former Federal Labor Senator will also open a campaign office locally. Ms. Stephens was born in Ireland and migrated to Australia where she attended Goulburn Teachers College. She and her family have lived on a property outside of Goulburn for 40 years. In the meantime Councillor Saville believes time wasnt on his side this time round.
