US$35,000 has been raised in five days today from staff members of the World Bank Group to fight Ebola is West Africa. Nine more days remains to complete this leg of the drive. So far we have raised our 50% matching fund bar expected from the World Bank Group as an institution to US$17,500 (that is half of US$35,000). This means as of 10/02/2014 @12:27 Eastern Standard Time (now) we have got US$52, 500 (fifty-two thousand five hundred dollars) in store to donate towards fighting Ebola in West Africa. As the sum of our contributions increases, so the matching fund amount will increase. Our target is to overtake the US$100,000 benchmark reached by the United Nations coordinated by New York. Given that only 250 staffs have so far contributed US$35,000, we hope to achieve our goal with instenfied outreach - which we are doing right now. We need contributions from to at least 5000 staffs in the next 8 days. Performance Monitoring Experts like Wahab Lera Shaw might hold us against our word :-) at the end of the drive.
