US President Barak Obama on Dr B R Ambedkar The Proud Black Buddhist World Association is a Buddhist organization founded in America by Nichiren Buddhist Anthony Amp Elmore who lives in Memphis, Tennessee. Elmore is a 40 year practicing Nichiren Buddhist. Elmore notes that while he appreciates his Japanese teachers introducing him to Buddhism Elmore notes that the Japanese style of Buddhist that is being propagated in America lacks Soul. The Buddhism as being taught in America lacks Soul because we are not being taught the True Spirit of Buddhism Most Asians paint a picture of the Buddha as an Aryan. Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar makes it clear in his writings that the Buddha was not Aryan, instead the Buddha Shakyamuni was of the tribe of indigenous Indians or Black people. A recent survey in India concluded that Dr. Ambedkar is Indias greatest modern day hero. Most people resist the fact or concept of the Buddha being non-White. Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar is one of Indias greatest heroes who taught that the Buddha was Black. We at the Proud Black Buddhist World Association honors Dr. Ambedkar.
