US-bound plane lands in Japan after severe turbulence A US-bound passenger plane has been forced to make an emergency landing in Tokyo after several people were injured by severe turbulence. The American Airlines plane was flying from the South Korean city of Incheon to Dallas when the turbulence hit. Five people needed hospital treatment, the airline said, but none of the injuries were life-threatening.
