US citizens can keep on griping and paying Lawyers but have the power to do something positive to correct government, Vote Lawmakers out of office. Otherwise YOU are next. This response comes from someone I know that was economically ruined by hostile government agencies intent on preventing his development of his own waterfront property. It is a prime example of what others will be experiencing, if they arent already, unless we join together and act in unity to regain our constitutional jurisdiction. Begin forwarded message: From: John Date: September 1, 2014 To: Kirk MacKenzie Subject: RE: [DRA] EPAs Secret Water Maps Kirk: This is exactly what I was dealing with, with the Army Corps of Engineers and the Endangered Species Act and also the Environmental Quality Act in California. The Army Corps has no clear mapping or definition of what Waters of the US actually are. We worked for several years trying to get a delineation of the so-called Waters of the US. They are claiming rights to a seasonal stream that runs 3 to 4 months a year in normal what years, probably dry this year. They also claim rights to any drainages into these seasonal strains, even disconnected drainages that quickly percolate into the ground and do not actually drain into the seasonal creek. The seasonal creek also flows directly into the San Joaquin River. The state of California and the feds have separate and not necessarily complementary rules, so is near impossible to satisfy both agencies. Also dealing with the Endangered Species Act and the listed and endangered California Tiger Salamander. They want a three to one set aside which equates being able to develop 25% of your property. And then also funding an endowment of approximately $3 million to provide for the maintenance of the set aside land in perpetuity. So this is not only happening in the states shown on your maps, but currently going on in California. The agencies are near impossible to meet with and when you do, they are extraordinarily arrogant, condescending and unbelievable difficult to deal with, especially when they are diehard environmentalists and have no regard for private property rights. So this is currently going on in our wonderful socialist state of California. This is still not completely resolved with the new owner, which has been over a year with the new owner. This is an unbelievable situation that absolutely ruined me financially and emotionally. Thanks for letting me vent, you will understand.
