US citizens injured in Kenya attack b4in.org/hL8 The US State Department is closely following a mass shooting in a Nairobi, Kenya mall, a department official said on Saturday. Marie Harf, the State Department deputy spokeswoman, said they have reports of US citizens being injured in the attack that has left dozens dead and even more injured. Nairobi™s police chief has said the attack by reportedly 10 gunmen was a terrorist act. "We condemn this senseless act of violence that has resulted in death and injury for many innocent men, women, and children. Our condolences go out to the families and friends of all victims,” Harf said in a statement.
