USA, State of New York, , Buffalo Description: The power is back on in Buffalo after a broad but brief service outage. National Grid says about 45,000 homes and businesses in the western New York city and some of its suburbs lost electrical service at about 6:30 a.m. Saturday due to a problem in a substation. Traffic signals in parts of the city were also knocked out. The last of those homes were back on the grid by 10 a.m.
