Introduction: I bring you great tidings from the secretariat of the University Students Association Of Ghana.Todays edition of USAG TODAY, announces our 1st senate meeting and again takes a retrospective reflection of our meeting with Dr. Bawumiah, Vice Presidential candidate of the NPP in his office at kanda two days ago.From the information ministry of USAG,I previously furnished you with past courtesy call meetings with some top Government officials and as a result wish to use this same medium to bring our cherished constituents up to speed with current happenings that borders on the growth and triumph of University Students in Ghana.The biggest brain behind such action is to consistently make our noble association known to experienced Religious, Business and Political leaders of this country in order to consider the University students during decision making. {A}1ST USAG SENATE MEETING On behalf of the National Executive Officers, the General Secretary of the UNIVERSITY STUDENTS ASSOCIATION OF GHANA, through this august medium wish to invite all Senators and accredited observers to our 1ST SENATE MEETING as slated below: DATE SATURDAY,31ST JANUARY,2015 TIME 8AM PROMPT VENUE AUDITORIUM OF UEW-MAMPONG CAMPUS NOTE: Observers should apply for accreditation from the USAG General Secretary via their respective SRC Presidents/Local NUGS Presidents before 27th of January,2015.There will be NEC meeting comprising National Officers and SRC Presidents/Reps of Institution. {2}MEETING WITH DR. BAWUMIAH The leadership of the USAG engaged the Vice Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party two days ago in his office at Kanda.Chief amongst what we discussed revolved the stability of this country and the need for us all, devoid of partisan affiliation to raise defensible walls to safeguard the supreme interest of the ordinary Ghanaian.
