USDP AND PROGRESS WE believe that if UK, that is not as rich as Nigeria in terms of natural and human resources, can afford to provide welfare services for her citizens, why cant Nigeria?. With the abundant human and natural resources God gave Nigeria, coupled with good arable land in the North and South of Nigeria, why cant we develop the country in the right sense of development? Why cant WE turn the North into our breadbasket for local consumption and export? Why cant WE provide life support social services for our people? Why do WE watch Nigerians suffer elsewhere? Very soon Ghana will drive Nigerians back home again and WE will all see the repercussions of it. I am aware that history, where allowed by the lack of application of knowledge, always repeat itself. If Chief Obafemi Awolowo can do it in the 60s when the resources from oil was very little, why cant our government that now has access to unimaginable resources provide for the homeless, students, mothers, children, the aged, the unemployed and provide various services such as social housing, welfare benefits, good roads, employable skills education, good hospitals and more. These are the reasons why WE started USDP in 2010. Try us. WE CAN and WE WILL.
