USN Minnesota branch press Release The leadership of the USN Minnesota branch is issuing this press release to express its utmost condemnation of the Djibouti regime’s repression on all the branches of the Djibouti community. The peace-loving Djibouti communities are exposed to daily dose of police breaking in to the houses, places of business and worship without probable cause, warrant and reason. The people are enduring daily illegal search and seizure, members of security services intimidation, threats and massive arbitrary imprisonment of opposition members and anybody arbitrarily labeled to be either a USN member or a sympathizer. The different Djibouti neighborhoods have changed into security and military garrisons where there are members of the security services in every corner. The show of security forces and their deployment through Djibouti is mind-boggling and quite unprecedented. Again both the USN leadership and members vehemently condemn this state of terror the peaceful-loving Djibouti citizens are exposed to from the unelected, undemocratic and diminishing repressive regime of the country. We have also already contacted the international organizations that watch and monitor the human right violations around the world.
