UTVs are classified as "Farm Vehicles" and therefore treated the same as a farm tractor driving on the road - they are required to be insured (ours is) and when on a double yellow line road, you must drive the vehicle as far on the berm (shoulder) of the road as possible. Furthermore, the Town of Harrisville does not have a noise ordinance. Therefore, calling the police in regards to UTVs driving on the the back streets (streets without yellow or white lines), obeying the posted speed limits, will do you absolutely NO good. Furthermore, I find it odd that people who have done the same before would complain about it now.
