Uefa opens disciplinary proceedings against Bayern Munich over illicit banner at Arsenal clash European footballs governing body will investigate a further two instances of wrongdoing by the German champions and their fans, including a delayed kick-off time Uefa has opened disciplinary proceedings against Bayern Munich over an illicit banner displayed by fans during their clash with Arsenal on Tuesday.  The banner, which depicted a cannon, Arsenal club record signing Mesut Ozil and the words Gay Gunners, was highlighted by the media and spread across Twitter following the 1-1 draw at the Allianz Arena. The proceedings will also investigate discriminatory behaviour of the Bayern fans, as well as a delayed kick-off time. Uefa say the case will be heard on March 20 by the Control and Disciplinary Body. Arsenal drew 1-1 on the night but lost 3-1 on aggregate and were knocked out of the Chamions League at the last-16 stage. Bastian Schweinsteiger scored for the hosts before Lukas Podolski, a former Bayern player, equalised for Arsene Wengers side
