Ugandan graces latest ASRA Lessons One of Ugandas leading National Formula Two drivers and also the head boy of the Abdul Sidi Rally Academy in the region, Edie Mukiibi visited the latest editions of ASRA today at the International Christian Church (ICC). I am always grateful to ASRA for where I am today. ASRA continues to play strong part in my rallying career. I am I came back after a long time because I learnt something completely new which I dont want to disclose, said Mukiibi The latest lessons were attended by new batch of students, who included two ladies vying to become the next leaders of the sport, once regarded male dominated. Please remember lessons are provided for FREE of Charge to ANYONE interested in learning the art of Rally Navigation, Rally Driving, Time Controls, Marshaling or any other motor sport related matters. There are no special requirements, qualifications or age limit to join the institution, which is considered as unique in the African Continent. ASRA has helped produce new blood in most areas of the sport not only in Kenya, but also directly in Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda respectively. ASRA has over 60 graduates, among female competitors, who are continuously gracing the sport of rallying in Kenya in addition to the large number of Controllers and Marshals, who never thought Rallying would be so “Close’’ to them.
