Ugandans in Diaspora led by one Florence Sebuliba met the vice president yesterday and presented their document purportedly from people living in Diaspora asking govt to consider creating 50 more MP places for people living in Diaspora in parliament. According to the document,15 MPs should be from USA & Canada, 10 from Europe, 15 from Asia the rest from elsewhere in the world. I cant believe a person who has lived in the developed world can come up with such an Idea! Such opportunists make people back home think we in the Diaspora are all day dreamers. I wonder how this lady thinks this can be implemented. As a person living in a developed country, i would advocate for the reduction of the number of MPs to save money. That suggestion was ridiculous and an insult to us straight thinking people living in Diaspora
