Ugandas poor farmers asked to consolidate land and wealth creation-Museveni By Goodluck Musinguzi For 20 years President Musevenis message of land consolidation and wealth creation has failed. One family said its impossible to do what Museveni is saying because he is out of touch with reality. This family in Kigezi has a family house and small garden on less than an acre. They have three goats they rear on other peoples land and this causes alot of conflict. The lady digs for others to survive while the money is a potter on construction sites. They hire land once in a while. This family says their children have neglected school because they got promoted without knowing and this was not good. They ask President Museveni to give a message that is real not wishes. They inherited this land and they are not sure what to give to their children. Our hope was this free education but children abandoned it . In 2008, President Museveni visited what termed successful/model farmers. President Museveni handed over vehicles and shs 15 millions but today as he concluded his tour no single farmer could thank him or show progress. What about the poor farmers of Uganda?.
