Uganda’s had five Ebola outbreaks in the last 14 years, none of which have become epidemics, because theres a strong health care system in place. Chelsea Clinton (now a mom) tells Fareed Zakaria. I dont know the yardstick Chelsea is using to measure Ugandas strong health system because success in fighting Ebola per se may reflect other things e.g high public awareness, increased border controls, improved quarantine measures, etc. This strenght ought to be reflected in combatting malaria deaths, infant & maternal mortality rates. These could be the most suitable indicators. The next biggest challenge for Uganda will be Mental Health.
