Ugg. Just about 3,000 words today. Had to stop and take a break. My brain is straining to get itself around the timeline. Up until now my story has been in the moment stuff but I am at a part were there needs to be some sort of backstory even if I dont include it in the narrative I need to know what happened when so I can make the pieces fit. I am just having an issue with the scale as this whole backstory should span 1 or 2 thousand years I think. Well thats what the world bible is for. I think I will take a break and let my subconscious noodle out how to handle the timeline. Worse comes to worse I will skip the backstory part and just write more story. The book doesnt have to be polished and done by the end of the month. Just a first draft written. #NaNoWriMo #ScopeBlock
