Uggg, frustrated! I love my pup, and anyone who knows me knows that is no exaggeration, but today I am not happy with her at all. It began on Friday. She is OCD about many things, licking is one of them. She has never created a problem with it until now. Her back paw was licked raw, yesterday. I have been treating it the way I have always treated her skin issues. This time she just wont stop. So, I put it in a sock, which she pulled off. Now I have a washcloth taped around her leg so she cant get to it. If she will just leave the stuff on it for a couple of days it will heal. I am trapped in my own home with a dog who is OCD and acts all innocent until I turn my back. There is no way I can leave her alone if I want this to heal. She even decided that she could go into the back yard and hide from me while she attacked her paw for a licking session. So much like a kid! I just keep telling myself I love her and all of her quirks make her special, some days she is just a little too special.
