Uggggggh!!! My job approved me for long term disability in 2012. Ive received 60% of my pay. July 2014 they determined that I was disabled and would be on permanent disability. Also in July 2014, I got a favorable determination from the SSA hearing judge and was granted permanent disability. At the time that my jobs insurance company, MetLife, determined that I was disabled they said I would be reviewed every year around July to see how I was doing and would receive the difference between my SSD check and what would be 60% of my salary which is about $550.00 from MetLife. I received a call today from MetLife that a nurse had looked at my case and determined that I should be able to do a sit down job. I am in so much pain and so tired that the only sit down job that I can do is sleep. Plus Im 60 years old. Who would hire me. I cant walk straight I pee and poop on myself, I get confused and sometimes cant talk straight cause the words Get stuck in my brain, I all of a sudden start to jerk and have spasms, I have been stressed out since I got the call. Its not just the money, but my BCBS health insurance that my job pays the entire premium. Thanks for letting me vent. I love you guys.
