Ugh!! Being renters really sucks at times!! While I appreciate that we have a semi decent roof over our heads, the owners make me SUPER CRAZY!!!! We had to have a new heater put in after we moved here in 2011, because SDG&E deemed it a hazard to use. That was a battle to get the owners to replace that but they did and supposedly had the A/C checked. I recently sent an email to the owner with a $49 deal for a company to come out and check the A/C (cause I am not about to have a $400+ SDG&E bill like I did last year for one month)! They said no, because when the guy put the heating system in 1 1/2 years ago, the A/C unit was checked then and it was fine... I am at a loss for words. I am biting my tongue and trying to not come back with a bratty comment. Not to mention gas and electric is going to increase... ** What sucks is the house we owned in Temecula that was 2650 sq.ft and a two story, this house is 1470 sq.ft and one story. Never had a bill higher than $200. And yes the Temecula house was new, but this house still has the same A/C system from who knows when. We pay at times double for gas and electric here. Frustrating is the word for the night!!
