Ugh....Guys. Words are words, and so are the ones Im about to say right now. When does it stop? When do we realize the differences in people that we choose to surround ourselves with. We celebrate reunions, heartbreaks, and passings over drinks, over a bowl, a blunt, a couple lines, whatever it takes to feel numb and together for ONE MOMENT. Dont you realize that without any of that you already share something? A friendship, a bond, energy. We are all so lucky to have such a close group of friends. Showing strength isnt posting about your MOMENT of clarity...or voicing to others the ways of recovery or change within themselves. Again, everyone has a different agenda. Friends that have loved ones suffering please STOP encouraging other things (as in drinks/substances) to keep them away from their addiction. A couple drinks to you is not the same for someone else. Our generation is so aware yet were oblivious to the things right infront of us. To my friends that know what im talking about.. even if we have matured in our personal lives we need to GROW UP as a group of friends. Instead of sharing a night of blur, and a tear over the loss of a friend. Lets start embracing the reason why we all came together in the first place.
