Ugh I just cant, a certain religious bar owner had to finally be removed from my page over his religious rambling about how its CHRISTmas and not XMAS, and how he would correct this to every person that posted X and that he wouldnt let anyone remove more CHRIST from his holiday. LarRY Herbert of Ripples please find time to seek the love in your religion being the GOOD DEDICATED CATHOLIC that you are, and simply enjoy the positive acknowment and cheerful post people make about the holiday instead of hate , death and inequality that flood the news feed normally. Your point of being an American and you dont care that the Roman numeral X was used as a symbol for GOD and that this is America we use Christ here, one most spell it CHRISTmas or face back lash from you is a hypocritical, uneducated & mute point. As Americans we are free to our own religions and speech, no one censors you when your running through the bar screaming violently & swearing at your customers or staff, so dont dont try to demand censorship of peoples pages and freedoms to speech, or religion. No one has taken away Christ from your CHRISTmas, because no matter how its spelled, Christmas is simply a word, its empty. Its just a grouping of letters that make a sound when combined together and form a language to provide a detail or description so we can communicate with each other, and make a simple understanding. The only person who can remove Christ from your Christmas is you Larry. Christ isnt in your bible, your church, or your holiday, he is simply supposed to be in your heart and mind. Faith is as powerful in your life as you make it out to be, and honestly should be KEPT in your heart and mind so you dont force your version of GOD onto someone who finds God in Buddha, Ra, Mother Earth or the McDonalds golden arches if they choose. Since youre such the devout Catholic your basically claiming to be in your post, maybe you could focus on your faith more if you learned to love others, control your emotional outburst against those who work for you and your patrons, and really focus that negativity your holding, on finding ways to happiness , inner peace, and gratefulness to the community around you that show up and keep your bar in business. Its amazing the change you will find in the world when you find the change in yourself. A lesson Im learning as well. Im sorry your Christmas is so secluded from the rest of us on FB who enjoyed beautiful HOLIDAYS, XMAS, CHRISTMAS and December 25ths with friends and family. Maybe when you learn to see the world realistically, realise that the 25th of December isnt even a holiday to some people, and accept everyones traditions and freedoms of beliefs, you could join in on our fun. Or you could just pray...............
