Ugh, eye fi issues...My camera wont boot with either of 2 different eye-fi cards. From: support.eye.fi/canon-slr-power-on-issue/ Eye-Fi and Canon have identified an issue in a small subset of Canon SLR cameras where a user inserts an Eye-Fi X2 card and the camera appears to not power on. In order to solve the problem, Canon support services must service affected cameras to eliminate the behavior. Eye-Fi customers who are experiencing this problem are urged to contact Canon support. Canon support will arrange to service affected cameras so that they will properly work with Eye-Fi X2 cards. Apparently, if youve ever used the magic lantern firmware, the installation turns on a bootflag that from what Ive read cannot be turned off, even by re-flashing with canon firmware. I posted a message in the ML forum in case I can be corrected but someone told me they had to send it back to canon for an expensive motherboard reset.
