Ugh what a day!! I had just got the roast chook and taters in the oven for diner last night and had just cracked my can of Double Jack when Tony opened a bag of tater chips to enjoy with my bevvie. Was having a lovely bevvie/chippy moment when I suddenly heard a crack and realised my tooth had brocken IN HALF!! No more chippies, no more bevvie (devod) and certainly no roast chicken and taters for diner, soggy weet bix for me :( After sleeping with the tooth in place all night I was off to the dentist this morning to get sorted only to find the tooth has broken completely in half all the way up into the root and there was no saving it, it had to go. Well I can honestly say Ive never endured such an experience in all my life, it took over an hour, the tooth was breaking up, I had 7 pain killing needles, there was blood and dribble everywhere and in the end, it didnt come out. The dentist said it was the hardest extraction she had ever done and now I have to go back tomorrow, so the other dentist can have another go. My face was swollen and I was a teary mess when I got home. I didnt want the kids to see me all fat faced and bloody after telling them I was going to the dentist, I didnt want to scare them, so I had to pull my shit together and pretend that Mummy just had a headache. I took lots of pain killers and cried myself to sleep. Im not looking forward to going back tomorrow for round 2. I hope the damn thing comes out :(
