Uglydoll licensing agent appointed for Asia Global Pursuit finalises representation deal with Pretty Ugly to expand brand. Uglydoll plush brand owner Pretty Ugly has appointed Global Pursuit as licensing agent for Asia. The newly established consumer products licensing, marketing and brand equity company, will represent the brand in Taiwan, Hong Kong and China. It will work with licensees and retailers in Asia to develop retail programmes and enhance the Uglydoll brand experience in categories such as apparel, accessories, stationery, publishing, toys and more. Alita Friedman, Chief Brand Officer for Pretty Ugly, said: “The Global Pursuit team truly understands our long-range vision and shares our fans’ passion for this distinctive brand. “Their relationships in the territory, combined with their ability to convey to their partners what makes Uglydoll so special, will no doubt lead to some fantastic licensing programmes in this very important market.
