Uh, I got a little behind on my thankfulness posts. Sadness. Ah, well, a chance to appreciate my babies. Day 22: Im thankful for my son, my Eli. He challenges me in ways no one else can, pushing me to be more patient, more playful, more firm, more direct. Hes the master of all things SUPER LITERAL, which Im learning isnt his way of trying to drive me nuts. Its just his way. I love him so much. Day 23: Im thankful for Brianna. Shes mini-me, which sometimes puts us at odds with each other and sometimes makes us total cohorts. Shes absolutely stunning, smart, stubborn and funny. She is strong enough to deal out a *sick burn* to her Papa when he cracks wise (stay away from the candy, Bob Huguenard!). Shes a killer pancake maker. She is a mini-baby whisperer. I dont know what Id do without her, my first born child, the one who made me into an actual grown up.
