Багато хто звинувачував хорватів в етнічних чистках, але незабаром Хорватія стала туристичною перлиною Європи, вступила до ЄС і НАТО, а генералів-організаторів операції проти сепаратистів міжнародний трибунал повністю виправдав. Схоже, що Україна може повторити саме цей шлях, якщо Захід не допоможе в мирний спосіб взяти Крим під контроль. Досвід Хорватії свідчить, що якщо не церемонитися з сепаратистами, то за деякий час можна стати цілісною, успішною країною, яку поважає весь Світ. Певен, Україну теж чекає успіх, можливо, все складеться саме за хорватським сценарієм», - каже політолог. «Щодо Росії, то на неї чекає доля Сербії, яка втратила і Чорногорію, і Косово. Так завжди буває з країнами, якими керують диктатори, що бажають розширити свою територію за рахунок сусідів», - підсумував директор ОПАД.
