Ultra wide angle photography just became cheap as chips (for Canon cropped sensor camera users anyway). Canon has just announced a brand new 10-18mm Ultra Wide Angle lens, projected to retail for just €349! With these kinds of lenses normally costing in excess of €500-€600 euro, this is a significant reduction! So whats the difference between 18mm on a kit lens on cameras such as the Canon EOS 600D or 70D and 10mm on an Ultra Wide? A lot, a heck of a lot. The two shots below show the difference between these 2 focal lengths on a picture shot in a very tight space, one where it was not possible to get back any further. Need we say more? What say you Conns Cameras?
