Um, I have a couple of questions, things that I have been thinking about a bit (alongside all the obvious things here to worry about). This group has just over 1,300 members and I know that there are others out there talking about this. But... what about all those tiny kitchen table, garage/shed businesses all over the world who know nothing of this? If we take the UK, despite Mr Cables assertion that everyone knows about this, we know this is not true. This group is a tiny fraction of the businesses that will be affected. If you dont do social media (I know crazy ;) ) and even if you do you might not know. I can see the potential for an awful lot of people to get some nasty shocks next year, how do HMRC propose to ensure that EVERYONE knows about this in the next two weeks (of course I am confident that all the folks working so hard to get this changed will succeed!!!!). On another note and something I am scared of bringing up on here cos I dont want to upset people, I am sure it is something some people are thinking about and may have been raised, but what would happen if everyone who has worked so hard to make a business for themselves decides, actually you know I cant do this I am packing up. If all the thousands of tiny businesses went under what would this do to the welfare system (sorry guys, but it is a point that maybe should be raised with our MPs etc ????????????????????? I dont know, but these two points have been worrying me for a few days and I needed to put them down).
