Umbrellas Up Its been a dreary day out there in the Arklatex. Those clouds wont be clearing anytime soon. Showers and a few rumbles of thunder tonight across East Texas ahead of our next system which will be passing through on Saturday. Overnight lows will be relatively mild in the low to mid 50s with a south wind at 10-15 mph. Tomorrow, expect widespread rain and maybe a thunderstorm, or two during the afternoon hours. Yes, that means pack those ponchos for the Duck Commander Independence Bowl. Highs will be reaching the low to mid 60s. Temperatures will fall on Sunday. Expect to wake up to temperatures in the low to mid 40s. Areas below the I-20 corridor will be seeing a few passing showers through the afternoon hours. Highs will barely squeak into the 50s. The last week of 2014 will be relatively dry. Seasonable temperatures in the mid 50s will tumble on New Years Eve as we get a blast of chillier air. It will be a great time to pull out the new holiday winter gear as highs will only be reaching the mid 40s to start the New Year. Have a great weekend!
