Nigerian military history shall in time record this Mubi attack as the most significant of the current Muslim Wars or the Conquest of Nigeria not on account of the scale of the operations, the casualties or the strategic importance of Mubi BUT FOR THE TACTICAL RAMIFICATIONS: MUBI REPRESENTS THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME. we need to understand that the tactical approach adopted by BH in Operation Mubi is neither a fluke nor an accident: at Mubi BH, as it were, tested the tactical manouvre they intend to apply for the planned conquest of Southern Nigeria: i. Infiltrate the target town or region. ii. Plant moles. iii. Attack. iv. upon the attack as signal, the moles, all the while hibernating in the belly of the city, rise up to lead the attack, pointing out pre-marked-out targets for the kill...AT MUBI BOKO HARAM ACCOMPLISHED TWO THINGS: THEY TESTED THEIR FUTURE BATTLE PLAN AND, AT THE SAME TIME, EMBLAZONED THEIR GRIZZLY HANDWRITING UPON THE NATIONAL WALL.
