Unable to withstand the pain any longer this weekend, I went to the walk-in clinic for a steroid shot and steroid pills. I saw a physician who does not know me and questioned why I wasnt on this med or that med. I replied that because this med and that med caused this and that and was more unhealthy than helpful.....My hand upon the Bible, I swear this is the words he replied with...Then you need marijuana, I wish they would make it legal He then proceeded to explain to me WHY it was the answer and WHY it was safe. I just had to sit there and smile and agree with him unable to bring myself to telling him he was preaching to the choir and I could probably teach him a thing or two. Sooooo, that is now 5 doctors who have told me that marijuana would help me and should be legal PERIOD!!! He also said that Rep Roe is close to getting on board. That he knows all about the benefits, hes just not yet comfortable going public and supporting. He said if they (I assume the medical community) could get him on board it would be so much easier. He then proceeded to enlighten me about other herbs and such for some of my other medical conditions. I think he was truly grateful to have a patient who wasnt there asking for loritabs or oxycoton......
