Unbelievable!!!!! Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 10 PM this evening to 11 am EDT Sunday... The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for heavy wet snow...which is in effect from 10 PM this evening to 11 am EDT Sunday. * Timing...rain will mix with snow in the evening...and then change over to all snow late tonight. Expect snow to taper off Sunday morning. * Accumulations...2 to 4 inches will be possible on the ridges...mainly above 1500 feet. A dusting to 2 inches can be expected in the valleys. Rising temperatures tomorrow will allow snow to melt fairly quickly. * Impacts...wet and heavy snow may begin to accumulate on sidewalks and roadways along ridges late tonight. This will create slushy and possibly slick conditions by late tonight and into Sunday morning. Up slope northwest winds will also lead to gusty conditions on the ridges through the night. This could lead to reduced visibilities of a quarter mile or less. Please take caution if traveling.
