Unbelievable that Alaska now has eclipsed 30,000 signatures to secede and rejoin Russia. Secession should be towards freedom, not czarism, not to control. I believe this petition sends a powerful message though. There are plenty of people in all 50 states that now see other places in the world as more free. This would be unfathomable in the first half of my life. America is not leading by example in terms of being free. We can also look at figures dealing with denounced citizenship. More people have given up their US citizenship since January of this year than did in the 1980s and 90s combined. Even though I am sure that my fantasy football buddies do not want to hear this again...they can acknowledge that I called this...5 years ago.
