Uncle Tim & Nephew Kyles Day Trip #1 - Summer 2014 Depart North Syracuse 1:20pm Depart Tully at 2pm International Boxing Hall of Fame in Canastota Sylvan Beach Amusement Park for a couple games of Skeeball Redeem 22 points of ticket winnings for an unedible stale lolly pop (and a couple pieces of candy that my nephew didnt get to pick... or want, considering the quality of the lolly pop) Eddies for an early dinner... the food was great! Chit chat with the waitress (who was a history major in college) about the 1897 wall painting of the Sylvan Beach TB hospital No-name Ice Cream place for a half-frozen vanilla, and a twist... which took 4 attempts (and the better part of 10 minutes) by 3 different counter people to keep them on the cones without falling off due to the liquidish consistancy Walk back along the beach Listen to Voltar tell us that hes going to give us our fortune, but then steal our dollar without providing our fortune. Notice theres no one at the desk to obtain a refund Walk along the pier, while avoiding a half million mine fields of goose poop Road Trip north of Oneida Lake on Rt. 49, enjoying the sunshine through North Bay, Cleveland, Constantia, West Monroe, & Central Square, all the while noticing the blackness & clouds over the Oneida Lake south shore... from 5 miles away :) Big Dons in Cicero for a game of Putt Putt Discuss why we still keep score when my nephew isnt winning Vanilla and black raspberry ice cream milkshakes Check out Big Dons laser tag facility Wait for 3 mosquitoes to bite me..... then leave Arrive in Tully 9:15pm Visit with my family ...and finally, arrive home around midnight ~190 miles round trip, North Syracuse to North Syracuse! All joking aside.... we had a riot! Absolutely fantastic, fun filled day!!! :-D
