Uncle Woodrow turned 97 last Sunday, he is still driving and is known for his work with a bulldozer of which he graded out numerous roads property and farm ponds (87) was the count I think he told me, the projects he helped with included most of the grading at the R.J Reynolds estate, assisted in building the dam there and assisted with the Blue Ridge Parkway and he also built the road to my house in 1952 and I guess was why I wanted the property so bad when I built here, Uncle Woodrow was also a craftsman with a stick of dynamite as he still has a twinkle in his eye when you mention his blasting projects, thought this might interest you folks as the my wife woke me up heading to her office and the dog needed outside this was on my mind!
