VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES – A showdown is expected in the Boys and Girls Under-14s Singles later this week. The continued successes of a number of the players in matches played to date point to such happening. Following the long break due to rain this morning, the scheduled matches in the Boys and Girls Under-14s commenced at the Grassroots Courts. Ukpioronfo Ikolo of Grenada defeated Kobe James of Trinidad and Tobago 6-3 6-4, Jean Phillippe Murray of Saint Lucia made light work of Keshon Reece defeating him 6-1 6-2. Cordell Williams jr of Antigua defeated Alexander Cyrus of St. Vincent and the Grenadines 6-4 6-0, Candace Cook of Trinidad and Tobago got past Kamara Williams of St. Vincent and the Grenadines 6-4 6-4, and Joshua Arnold of Trinidad and Tobago took three sets to defeat Adriel Bousquet of Saint Lucia 6-1 4-6 6-3.
