Under CEQA, Shasta County is required to hold a public hearing during the circulation period of the draft EIR. I cant find notice of a public hearing on the Countys web site for this project. I urge everyone to email Bill Walker (Senior Planner @ Shasta County) and request a public hearing on the draft EIR. (Even if you already submitted comments.). Also, the County may not be required to respond to issues that are raised after the public comment period closes. Speak now or forever hold your peace...
